Homeopathic Products for Veterinary Use
Homeopathic products are produced with a special technology based on repeated and consecutive dilution of natural herbal extracts, minerals, metals, organic and inorganic acids, and animal tissues.
Medications produced using this technology have a deep and many-sided impact on a physical body.
These products are aimed at solving most topical problems of veterinary medicine and take into account physiological features of animals and specific character of their clinical course.
Application of homeopathic products presumes security, efficiency and quick action. The products are easy in use and do not require any specific knowledge or skills from a veterinarian.
Homeopathic products help to solve numerous problems in various fields of veterinary medicine. They are widely applied in the practice of pet animal treatment, at agricultural plants, cattle-breeding and poultry farms.
The products allow to help animals in critical cases, in cases of traumas, diseases of gastrointestinal tract, chronic diseases, allergic reactions, stress and many other situations.
Homeopathic products have no negative effects whatever the dosage is.
General rules of applying homeopathic medications
When a veterinarian prescribes a homeopathic medical product he/she counts on a response of the body, which means a positive response of the immune system. That is why the quicker symptoms of a disease become apparent, the more often a doctor should stimulate protective systems of the organism. This concerns the intensity of the symptoms. The higher the temperature is, the more intensive the hemorrhage is and the more acute the pain reaction is, the more frequent the applications should be. In case of an injection therapy intervals between injections can be about two hours; in case of a per oral treatment intervals can be about 5 minutes.
This practice allows to break the development of pathologic processes at the very beginning, for example, in case of an acute virus or a sharp pain, hypovolemic shock or wound shock, in case of an acute poisoning, commotion or brain contusion etc.
As the symptoms become less apparent and the animal’s state of health is improving, the treatment intervals should gradually become longer. If the case has lost its critical status, this means that principal protective mechanisms of the body and its process of self-regulation are active. The prescription stays in force as long as the positive dynamics continues. The medication should be changed only if the process has stabilized but there is no complete recovery.
In case of an acute inflammation, the duration of treatment varies from several hours (eradicating the disease at the very beginning) to two weeks (in case of a virus or a severe trauma).
In most cases the treatment starts with rather frequent injections (3 times a week, or daily) and then proceeds with passing over to larger intervals between the injections.
Per oral therapy is efficient in case of a chronic disease and in many cases it can stand for injection therapy.
If farm animals with acute diseases are treated, the injections should be done every 24 to 48 hours and in case of a chronic disease once – or twice a week. As a rule the course of treatment for farm animals includes 2 or 3 injections.
